Redness

Redness Treatment is a professional skin solution designed to calm, soothe, and reduce visible redness, whether it’s from rosacea, broken capillaries, inflammation or general skin sensitivity. If your skin often looks flushed, feels reactive, or doesn’t seem to settle down no matter what products you try, this treatment can help restore balance and comfort. Redness can be caused by a variety of factors, including genetics, sun damage, skin conditions, or a weakened skin barrier. Rather than covering it up with makeup or guessing with products, we take a targeted approach using calming ingredients, strengthening treatments and advanced technology to get to the root of the problem. Our goal is to improve your skin’s resilience, reduce visible redness and help you feel more confident in your natural skin, without irritation and with minimal downtime.

How Does It Work?

Redness treatments work by calming inflammation, repairing the skin barrier and improving microcirculation to reduce flushing over time. Depending on your skin condition, we may use a combination of LED Light Therapy, to reduce inflammation and promote healing. Barrier repairing skincare using calming ingredients like niacinamide, panthenol, and hyaluronic acid.
Enzyme or lactic acid exfoliation, gentle options that won’t trigger sensitive skin
Laser or IPL, to target visible capillaries and diffuse redness.

Every treatment starts with a thorough skin consultation so we can understand your triggers and tailor the treatment accordingly. We focus on calming, non-invasive techniques that support long term skin health.

We will also guide you on the right skincare to use at home, free from common irritants, to extend the results and prevent flare ups between appointments.

Who Is It For?

Redness Treatment is perfect for anyone struggling with rosacea or general facial redness, broken capillaries (visible red veins), sensitivity or reactivity to skincare, flushed, hot, or irritated skin, red post-acne marks or inflammation.

It’s suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive, dry, or mature skin. Whether your redness is occasional or constant, we can adjust the treatment plan to suit your level of sensitivity.

Who should avoid it?
This treatment is suitable for most people, if your skin is currently inflamed from active acne, sunburn, or you’re using strong prescription creams, we may recommend waiting or modifying the treatment. We will always check your skin and discuss any medications or skin conditions first.

What to Expect

During your consultation, we will start with a skin analysis to identify the source of redness and sensitivity. Depending on your skin, we may follow with a gentle exfoliation, LED light therapy, or IPL treatment.

Most sessions take around 30–45 minutes. Afterwards, your skin may feel slightly warm or flushed, this should resolve over the next 24 Hours.

We’ll give you simple, redness safe aftercare advice and recommend any skincare products that can help maintain results at home. Regular treatments can help reduce flare ups and build stronger, more resilient skin over time.

FAQs

  1. What causes facial redness?
Redness can be caused by a range of things, from rosacea and sun damage to a weak skin barrier. Harsh skincare products, or lifestyle triggers like alcohol, spicy food, or temperature changes can also affect the skin. We will help identify the root cause and create a personalised treatment plan to address it gently.
  2. How many treatments will I need?
Many clients notice an improvement after just one session, but for longer-term results, especially with chronic redness or rosacea, we recommend a series of treatments. This could be every 2–4 weeks initially, followed by maintenance as needed. We will personalise a plan based on your skins needs.
  3. Will the treatment irritate my skin more?                                                                                                                                                 We specifically use gentle, non stripping products and calming methods that are designed for sensitive or redness prone skin. If your skin is very reactive, we will take extra care and start with milder options to ensure it stays calm and comfortable throughout.
  1. Can you treat broken capillaries?
Yes, with IPL we can target broken capillaries directly. These treatments collapse the tiny blood vessels responsible for visible redness.
  2. What should I avoid after the treatment?
After treatment, avoid hot showers, vigorous exercise, or spicy food for 24 hours to prevent triggering redness. Avoid exfoliating products or anything with strong actives (like retinol) for a few days and apply SPF daily to protect your skin. We will provide detailed aftercare personalised to suit your skin.
